We score every stored fact on three axes: how recently it mattered, how relevant it is to the task at hand, and whether you’ve confirmed it. A price you changed last week outranks one from a year ago. Facts that stop being used quietly fade rather than resurface at the wrong moment.

Good memory isn’t storing everything. It’s knowing what to surface and what to let go.
