Why we built teammates, not another chatbot
A chatbot answers. A teammate acts. That difference is the whole reason Yadi exists. We didn’t want a box that explains how to chase a payment — we wanted something that chases it, then tells you when the money landed.
A bot waits. A teammate acts.
Most AI tools sit behind a prompt, waiting to be asked. Maya and Nova carry a role instead: capture the order, send the reminder, draft the follow-up, file the receipt. They work between your messages, not just inside them.
You don’t prompt a colleague. You brief them, and they get on with it.
Identity is a feature
Each teammate has a name, a face, a lane, and its own tools. That isn’t decoration. A named teammate is one you can trust with a task, hold to a result, and reason about — “Maya handled it” means something a faceless assistant never could. Accountability needs a who.
